How did you get into archery?
My sister (Jodie) got into archery when I was only 6 and being a needy younger sister, I wanted to follow in her footsteps! So, I did my beginners course when I was old enough along with my Mum!
What are your archery performance highlights?
Sharing the podium for all my BUCS team medals and of course my individual too and coming 7th in the national tour stage 2 in 2024. Hoping for much more in the new year!
What are your goals for 2025 and beyond?
To finally get my GMB! After only one score off last year! I also hope to climb the rankings, get more medals and many more pb's. To feel confident in my shooting and show that in every shot!
Who has been most influential in helping you get to your current level?
My dad and mum! Helping me get all my equipment and supporting me at every competition when I wasn't able to make it there by myself. Cheering me on over the phone during a head-to-head. I couldn't do it without them!
Who is your most admired archer?
Also my dad! Watching him do as well as he does makes me feel so proud! Both times he won the indoors I couldn't have been prouder!
What advice can you give to up and coming new archers?
Archery is what I do to relax, it makes me a better archer! Enjoy it and relax! Talk to the people on your target and just enjoy yourself!
