How did you get into archery?
I went to a Scouts District camp and did lots of different activities and I absolutely loved the Archery!! From there, I completed a beginners course at AC Delco in July 2023 and I have been absolutely hooked ever since!!
What are your archery performance highlights?
Even though I’m relatively new to shooting I feel very lucky to have had so many amazing experiences and have achieved so much! There have been so many great moments throughout the last year, that it’s almost impossible to choose the best moments - but my highlights would probably include achieving both Grand Master and Elite Grandmaster Bowman classifications in my first year of shooting, winning the All British Field Championships (U14 recurve category), Winning the Southern Counties Youth Tour (SCAYT), Making podium at my first Junior Outdoor Nationals tournament and being selected for the Archery GB NAG Academy.
What are your goals for 2025 and beyond?
To keep working on improving my technique and to have fun!!!
Manufacturer sponsors
Podium Bowstrings, Ramrods
Who has been most influential in helping you get to your current level?
So many people have been incredibly supportive and have contributed massively to my journey, but I’m especially grateful to everyone at AC Delco Bowmen, in particular Gary Carr, Nick Coe, Stuart Riley and Nick Bacon. Also, my Archery GB coaches - Gaynor Hutchinson and Dave Morris.
Who is your most admired archer?
Ki Bo Bae and Bryony Pitman
What advice can you give to up and coming new archers?
Trust the process and don’t out to much pressure on yourself because highs and lows are all part of the process and don’t be afraid to talk to people and make friends. But most of all, always make sure you’re enjoying yourself and having lots of fun!
