How did you get into archery?
I got involved in archery by watching the Disney movie Brave, after I watched that movie I remember making a bow out of a stick of bamboo and string with sucker arrows, shooting at a target that was drawn onto the window with crayon. Then after that I watched The Hunger Games and just had to take a beginners course!

What are your archery performance highlights?
My current highlights are being the Under18 Outdoor National Champion in 2023 and placed 3rd in the UK for the national rankings in the Under18 category for 2022 - as well as being a part of the AGB NAG Academy.

What are your goals for 2024 and beyond?
My goals for 2024 are to beat more of my PBs at 70m and get some more selection scores under my belt. For after 2024, I’ll be working on keeping my strength up and going to international competitions.

Who has been most influential in helping you get to your current level?
The most influential has definitely been my coach, friends, and parents. Without them I wouldn’t have been able to have the mentality I have right now or be performing at this level!.

What advice can you give to up and coming new archers?
The advice I’d give to up and coming new archers is that you don’t always have to have the best equipment to shoot high scores, if you put the work in you can achieve those scores you want to get & to not let the bad days hit you too hard!
