How did you get into archery?
I first tried archery around the age of 8 during a school activity camp that lead to me driving my grandparents mad as I constantly wanted to make bows and arrows in the garden from branches I found after walking round the woods. It wasn’t until around the age of 10 when we discovered the local archery club shoot on my schools field and shortly after that I was signed up to start the club beginners course.

What are your archery performance highlights?
Representing my home county as part of the Sussex County Archery team for 15+ years both as a junior and as a senior team member. Set 30+ county records. Was the 339th person to Achieved the gold AAS award (the association for archery in schools) within the 25 years of the scheme Achieving Master bowmen over multiple years and ranking previously in the top 100 UK rankings.

What are your goals for 2024 and beyond?
To continue to promote the sport I love and help others with anything from getting there first bows to fine tuning there kit helping them to achieve their own goals. Continue to enjoy my sport and to continue to actively attend tournaments.

Manufacturer sponsors
The Archemists.

Who has been most influential in helping you get to your current level?
My Mum and Phil Adam’s as they have supported me throughout my archery career.

Who are your most admired archers?
Levi Morgan, Chris bee and John Dudley they all have great advice for compound archers backed up by thier very successful shooting careers.

What advice can you give to up and coming new archers?
Make sure you’re shooting to have fun, it’s not all about the score. You will get lots of advice from many people on your archery journey some bits might work for you other bits might not, we’re all individual so you can only give it a try! If it works make a note and over time you will create a checklist which you can reference when you shoot.
