How did you get into archery?
My Dad always wanted to have a go so he booked us both on a beginners course 40 years ago and I just kept going.
What are your archery performance highlights?
Shooting for GB as an able bodied archer back in the 2000's then shooting for GB as a Paralympic Archer in 2024. Best feeling in the world putting that GB shirt on.
What are your goals for 2025 and beyond?
Get to the Paralympic World Champs in Korea this year. Keep coaching beginners and top level archers.
Manufacturer sponsors
Copper John.
Who has been most influential in helping you get to your current level?
My wife Judi. Always there and keeps me in check.
Who is your most admired archer?
Malcolm Grant a coach from Brixham who helped design my first shooting harness and spent time getting me back shooting again after my motorbike accident. He is an absolute gentleman and top coach.
What advice can you give to up and coming new archers?
Ask questions and keep learning but mostly just shoot and enjoy it.
