This target is very capable and great for home practice! I've placed this on the ground, propped up with two logs and it has stayed in its place.

You may want to think about a stand if you are intent on shooting at eye level (but it could stand on a bench and rest angled on a back-wall just fine!)

My bow is 38 lbs in strength, the arrows pass through the target by no more than 2-3 inches; this is at a very close distance however and at longer distances (>10m) the arrows would slow down. - Thoroughly recommended if you are in a similar situation!
