For Heavy and Short Hunter or AFB Bows use 14 Strand Dacron Strings

Great advantages on heavy and short hunters for stabilising the shot and for consistent shooting on American Flat Bows

Also tends to reduce noise of the shot

Nock to string fit can be a bit tight if using smaller nock sizes so a 12 strand string could be better here

Dacron strings give a softer feel than the latest low/non stretch materials and 'give' a little on release which is kinder to the bow

These strings should be used on more entry level equipment and also on older bows that were not designed for the shock of the latest high tech strings
