String Wax is essential for the care of your Bowstring.

Rub it on, and rub it in, on a regular basis.

Keep some wax in your tackle box.

What is does :

The wax keeps the strands of the string and the fibres within the strands bound together.

This makes the string stronger as well as the function of the string more effective.

A furry and worn string is less consistent and gradually puts the shock of the shot onto one fibre at a time.

….which will leads to a change in performance of the bow and to eventual failure of the string.

Types of Wax Available:

Synthetic wax is specially formulated and usually has added lubricants.

Plain Beeswax is also good, traditional,  and I think smells nice .
